about

The first song written that's used by Tommy the Warden live. I think the scaffold of the song dates back to around 2005 and some of the riffs even older. This song is sung entirely by Ernst. The EP title comes from a line in this song. We choose this to be the first song on the EP simply because it was one of our oldest songs.

lyrics

The streetlight is on
It hides the auras of the naked children
that wander the night
looking for a last cigarette
It's hard to flee when you're alone
carbonated lungs and kerosine tongues
are pressed against a broken whiskey bottle
causing them to bleed oxygen
So the price is right
and the headlights are guiding them
towards a destiny on sale.
so it's hard to tread where our parents did
His conscience make the headlights flash
trying to warn everybody
but too many need attention
It's hard to cry when your throwing your insides up
He holds his breath during the night
learns how a cardboard can be a blanket.
Conversations in the backseat, a soundtrack so enlightning
Tonight the sky is falling down
people are going to die
the static on the radio is the sound of fire and sirens
it was to much tonight
The explosion from the crash was so beautiful,
but Dave wont be remembered.

A post-hardcore trio from Aarhus, Denmark who sounds like your iPod going crazy!

Several years ago, rehearsing in a garage, they figured writing their own music was way more awesome than playing other peoples stuff. They soon discovered that progressive songstructures suited the band well, and incorporating several styles of music was how every band member had their say. ... more
